- Mr. Salem L. Ganapathi :
An Engineer from Anna University (Chennai) and a management graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), S. L. Ganapathi has been a corporate executive, teacher, consultant, and an entrepreneur. In his professional life spanning four decades, he has over 30 years of experience in the logistics industry where he has held many important portfolios and also held important positions in industry associations. Worked in Shipping Industry in Kolkata for ten years in senior positions – help several Industry positions and played a very key role in advent of containerisation and container shipping in Kolkata. He started his own All India freight forwarding and container transport company with head quarters in Delhi and played a pioneering role in inducing container traffic in Delhi ICD in early days of Delhi ICD. As an entrepreneur, he set up his own 3PL/ 4PL company offering logistics services including warehousing and distribution. He is a Guest and Visiting Faculty in many premier Institutions like IIFT, IMI etc and also has contributed to many news papers with articles on contemporary topics in Logistics. He is also the Honorary Representative of International Road Transport Union (IRU) in India -
Ms. Jayashree Ganapathi :
Ms. Jayashree Ganapathi holds Post Graduate degree in Organic Chemistry from University of Nagpur and B.ED from Annamalai University. She has a number of years of experience as a Science teacher in Higher Secondary schools. She did her Diploma in Special Education from Sapastic Society of North India Delhi . Since then she has been working with special (multiply handicapped) children in poor areas of South Delhi as a Part of ASTHA an NGO working with disabled. Presently she is Director in the NGO and also involved in commercial organizations being run by her husband. -
